Christmas Fun

In the days leading up to Christmas, we tried to take in some festive activities. There was a craft after school one day (thank you Daddy for bringing home Chipotle so I could play instead of cook!)
There was a trip to the Children's Museum with Nana and Papa. Kilen was very set on driving Papa, Nana and Elsie to Home Depot, and he wanted to drive me to the coffee shop. Daddy was doing some super secret Santa missions during our excursion to the museum. :)
We also took in the Hollidazzle parade on a holli-drizzly evening.  It was a little damp, but it was fun. Goldy was the Grand Marshall and the U of M Marching Band was marching that night. It was a very fun night for all of us!
On our way home from school we stopped in front of this house a couple of times. It was ALL lit up every evening, and often there would be three cars driving slowly through the cul-de-sac just taking in the lights. I didn't even try to pretend I was lost - we just pulled up and sat in the turn-around so that Kilen could get a really good look.

Getting ready for Christmas was really fun this year!
