This weekend we hosted the Toddler Olympics. The participants were Jack Schauer, Kilen Reder, and Weston Berggren. Olympians in training Finn Tofteland, Asher Plante, and Elsie Reder were also present to pick up some tips for future competitions. (As were babies-yet-to-be-born Berggren and Schauer)
The event was a huge success, the kids really got into it once they warmed up. We had a full decathlon ready for them including a piggy-back race, long jump, high jump, discus throw, stick throw, bear crawl up the hill, hurdles and others. The parents had a lot of fun too - leading warm ups, coaching up the kids, sporting shirts from the country of their choice, cheering on the kids and sharing a nice meal together.
Everyone's a winner at the Toddler Olympics!!
