Fun in Luverne

We spent a few days in Luverne this week visiting Grandma Melva, and the Boyenga family: Mike & Angie, Carter, Simon, Brynn and Maesa. Kilen enjoyed our little vacation. He especially liked watching an Elmo movie in the hotel, playing in the huge jacuzzi tub, racing matchbox cars with Grandma, playing at the paek, going out to eat and swimming with his cousins. Brynn and Maesa especially were thrilled to meet their new girl cousin.

It was a new experience for mom and dad too - we upgraded to a suite so we could enjoy the jacuzzi tub fit two cribs in one room. We were quite surprised at how well the kids slept in the hotel room. We were prepared for the worst, but other than two early morning wakeups by Klen, it was just like at home.

The picture of the cousins above is a new favorite... it's the first picture of all of them together. And they are all laughing because Elsie had just let out a huge fart.
