Here's a picture of him 'chasing' me around the yard. That's his new thing these days - he crawls to us when we call him. And then reaches to be picked up. Today I picked him up from daycare, he saw me, started laughing and clapping and then crawled toward me. Pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Kilen has changed a lot over the last month. Here's what he's up to now:
- Eats 3 meals a day - typically cereal and fruit for breakfast, a vegetable and some cheerios for lunch, and dinner is usually the big finale with another vegetable, cereal and fruit. He loves to pick up cheerios and other little bits of foods, but enjoys dropping them or giving them to Sadie rather than getting them in his mouth.
- Eating mostly pureed fruits and veggies, just started yogurt and bits of finger foods.
- Drinking water from a sippy cup on his own. Well, it results in wet clothes most of the time, but he's getting better all the time.
- His crawling is gettng better every day.
- He's a very happy boy - especially after waking in the morning and after naps.
- He loves his nuk. I haven't heard any stories of him stealing nuks at daycare but wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. He's pretty distractable to where he doesn't need it all the time, but sure does like it for naps, stroller rides and car rides.
- Loves to giggle. Initiates playing peek-a-boo.
- I think his favorite toy is the wiffle ball or football - he loves to throw them and also thinks it's pretty fun when Sadie chases afer it. Almost as funny to us.
If you've made it this far, thanks for reading. We are happy to be able to document Kilen's development and maybe even provide a little entertainment in the process.
