Another week has flown by. Here's the recap:
- I attended the U of M intersquad meet on Friday night and the team dinner following. Kim was also there with Weston to support our coaching husbands. Little does Weston know how much track he's going to witness in his life, but he seemed to enjoy it. :)
- Saturday was filled with running errands and a little Christmas shopping. The first highlight was that we finally got rid of our paint can collection. Woodbury opened up a new environmental center that takes your stuff for free, it was so easy. The second highlight of the day was that we met Casey and Megan for dinner and saw the movie Up In The Air. I gave it 2 thumbs up. Lynden's still wondering why women think George Clooney is so attractive.
- We had our first baby shower on Sunday, hosted by the Berggrens. It was a great day spent with friends and the food was awesome. (Look at that cute cake!!) A big plus, we now have the ability to safely transport our baby (once it arrives). The next step is to figure out how to get the infant carseat set up in the car... this could turn into another weekend project?!
- Monday night included a visit from my brother Kris and the installation of some new light fixtures. Our kitchen has now officially left the 80's time period.
- Tuesday night was baking for the charitable giving bake sale at work - which led to Wednesday night's overeating of the leftover baked goods.
- Last night we attended Lynden's work holiday party in the DQ Club Room at the stadium. It was fun to meet some of Lynden's coworkers and spouses I hadn't met before, and it was cool to see the finished room in the stadium all decorated for the holidays. Once again, we ended the night too full from all the good food. One of these days we'll learn how to not stuff ourselves - but probably not until the holidays are over.
